It is sad to see that after an amazing start to the season, Bloomquist won't see much playing time.

He has a .368 avg, 1 HR, 5 RBIs, and 6 SBs.

Yeah I'm trying to decide what to do with my outfield. I'm kinda stuck in a rotation because I have a lot of guys who arent playing everyday so Ive just been kinda adding and dropping guys hoping to find myself a solid set. I think I should have increased the number of bench spots by one or two when I made the league but I wouldnt wanna do it now as it would likely be unfair to those not paying attention haha

I may as well give up on trying to get any pitching stats. I have a few good individual pitchers if anyone wants to trade me a high average base stealer.

I have Carl Crawford on my team, as my first round pick. You can't possibly have it as bad as me

I was super happy to see that John Lackey pitched 8 shutout innings today...then checked my team and saw that for some damn reason he was on the bench. I don't know how or why any of my pitchers are on the bench considering I had open slots on the active roster

I've been steady in the mid to top half of the pack, made some moves to get my sv's up as I am hurting badly in that area. I have been lucky to avoid an major DL problems this far, which appear to be hurting some people, I would be fine with adding another bench spot fwiw.

THE only good thing to happen to my fantasy team this season happened tonight. Thank you Liriano. I feel a little better about my suck.

[Edited on May 3, 2011 at 10:43 PM. Reason : and my teams still sucks complete ass. don't think that i forgot that haha]

Lester fanned 11 for me tonight, and my hitters are doing decent. I keep fluctuating between number 3 and number 8 in this league. May need to make a trade in the pitching department though/

^GRRR, fuck Lester, I can't stand watching professionals look at fastball's fly right down the middle with 2 strikes. Another tough game to watch, god damn Angels cannot beat the fucking Red Soxs to save our lives.

^^ I mean the ERA is nice but a lousy 2K's and 6BB is a pretty lame 1 hitter. This league doesn't really punish for BB though so overall def nice way to get a W.

Yo, if anyone in our league (TWW) reads this, I'm looking for a middle infielder, so if you're looking for something let me know.

I'd consider shopping some of my SP: Fausto Carmona, Dice-K, Ted Lilly, maybe Kyle Lohse, along with my current MI that I want to get rid of (Freddy Sanchez).

My middle infielders I'm willing to give up easily:

Jonathan Herrera
Angel Sanchez
Danny Espinosa

Middle infielders I would need a good deal to consider (aka, actually potential for production):
Dan Uggla
Chase Utley (if he ever gets off the DL)
Rickie Weeks

Who offered me this trade, and were you drinking at the time? That would be a terrible trade for me. Gonzalez ~ Johnson is pretty much a one to one trade maybe with an edge to Johnson, maybe... but Bautista for Bruce? What?

I sent the trade.. Maybe an edge to Johnson? I am a big fan of Gio but if healthy I think Johnson well outperforms him this year. I agree Bautista is much better than Bruce, but I do know people who are still not sold on Bautista and believes he is a fluke. Obviously you are not, point taken.

Don't act like I sent you a ridiculous Troy Tulowitzki for Derek Jeter trade offer

My luck: My batters go 3/32 so far today, and Jake Peavy is working on what could be a CGSO when I don't start him (due to DL + Indians offense). Oh and Mo blows a save.

I'm finally liking my team. I have a back up for Helton's off days in Seth Smith, Nishioka will get off the DL soon, and my pitching is just about stabilized (except the CWS rotation). There isn't a chance that I'll win this year, but I can see making it into the top 5 minimum.

Humber pitches a great game, doesn't get the win, and then Huston Street gives up 2 runs in one inning. FML

Looks like 6-8 of 10 teams are still fairly active in the league, not too shabby so far.

Well finally decided yesterday to cut ties with a few guys gave them time to start producing and just wasnt there so hoping my pickups can give me a little more juice. What is surprising is how bad I thought my pitching staff was to start the season and that seems to be keeping me in the top half of the league.

yeah, my team seems like it is on a downward spiral. Cueto had a good outing last night, I am thinking about putting Buchholz, Cueto, or Lily on the block to see if i can improve my team at all. Long season though, so who knows.

This year has been brutal for me. Half my pitching staff was on the DL at the same time, now I have McCann on the DL and Melky, Polanco, Hardy, and Derrek Lee are all facing injuries.

I stopped paying attention a long time ago since I had such an awful team (thanks to not being available for the draft) and I've had Uggla on the bench during his entire hitting streak.

got lucky with a few trades like trading Anibal Sanchez before he fell off a bit and trading Josh Johnson before the news that he was going to be out longer than expected. Pitching still carried me through the season. Only wish we had more teams active, but that's how it goes with fantasy sports.
