The only funny parts are the ending segment to me. It has a good cast but I still feel like they could do more with this show.

I still don't really understand this show...in fact I'm starting to think that there really isn't anything to understand, they just want you to think there might be without actually having anything mean anything

either way, I've been enjoying the show more each week...thought the episode where he got into the car accident with that lady was hilarious

I think the only parts that really make me laugh are when he reacts like a dog. Like when Ryan turned on the vacuum cleaner and he flipped out. That was pretty funny.

I was thinking about posting the same thing. My dog f'ing hates the vacuum cleaner. They need to have an episode where Wilfred fucks with a TWC cable guy

^ i lol every time something like that happens.

I love anything that mentions the post office. The way the date Wilfred setup goes into the message he sent: "some of the things you said were disgusting, but disgusting is hot! And the stuff you said about the post office i just didn't understand, by the way what is snout-rape?"

Is it possible that Wilfred made the basement into a closet to mess with Ryan?

or is Ryan just hallucinating?

I kind of expected this to end up a "Bobby is alive and in the shower" moment but didn't see it coming this soon.

Then again the scene at the door could turn out to be a dream and everything so far is real. Or at least real for now.

It was renewed on August 6th for a second season. It was renewed along with Louie and Always Sunny in one fell swoop.

I'm rewatching the old ones on Time Warner On-Demand. A couple of observations:

1. Time Warner's new "upgrades" to their guide or whatever are really, really awful.
2. This show is awesome.
3. I love Ryan's home and neighborhood. Remarkably unremarkable with some nice touches.

This one is about to come off my DVR as well. I don't dislike it, but I don't like it enough to keep up with it anymore on a weekly basis.

I still enjoy the episodes and watch(ed) every week.

I'm pleased Jenna and Drew finally got married, hopefully Ryan will stop moping around all the damn time now. Maybe it means Drew will be a more permanent character now, I like the comic relief that he brings to the show.

i just kind of lost interest in the dog. he became somewhat insufferable and i found myself laboring through episodes wondering why i even bothered. at that point i was done. ^i agree with you that drew was a welcome addition to the show when he was on.

the first season seemed to be more "hey look its a man in a dog suit doing things a dog would do"

this season seems to be more, for lack of a better term, psychologically driven. the laughs have been fairly the same while the "oh shit" moments have increased exponentially. I for one have enjoyed season 2 more than season 1

Wilfred finally renewed, but the showrunner (David Zuckerman) will only be returning as a part-time executive producer.

Wilfred writer/producers Reed Agnew and Eli Jorné, who have been on the show since the beginning, have been upped to executive producers and showrunners for the upcoming season.

I didn't watch the last 2-3 episodes of this season. I really wanted to like it, but got tired of the same old act. S1 was much funnier IMO.

They should make it more episodic, and less story arc.

There's not much depth of story you're going to get out of a talking-dog-that-only-1-person-sees-as-human.
