^^if you're replying to me you'd do well to note that I said I never saw the 3rd one.

Also nowhere in the 1st movie does the Maxima race anyone. It peels out once and that's about it so I don't know where you get 9 seconds from. The Jetta racing the S2000 was pretty stupid, but the Jetta was also a supporting character's car NOT one of the main character's cars.

Saw Fast 5 yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it..just had to throw out the "this goes against the laws of physics" mentality and take it for what it was.

Fast and the Furious meets Oceans 11.

I saw it yesterday and really like it. I thought it was way more enjoyable then any of the last 3 movies. if you see it stay for the little screen after the credits

This was really quite a good movie all things considered. It will of course not be as memorable as the first one, there is just so much quotable goodness in the original.

The fight between the Rock and Vin made me a little gay...seriously awesome stuff.

Also, there is a scene after the credits! Good stuff there too!

The movie was entertaining. Maybe not the best in the series, but certainly not the worst.

They had the cliffhanger after the credits, but i thought i heard justin lin wasn't coming back for furious 6

I loved the new one.

I bet my friend that the script calls for them to brake at the edge of the cliff, but during filming they just said fuck it and drove off.

Thought the movie was really good. Did not top part 1, but it was the next best. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, the action scenes were fully hollywood, but enjoyable none-the-less.

^^^Clearly you can see the performance (and platform potential) difference between the 3rd gen GS-T and the bloated overweight FWD V6 4th gen CONVERTIBLE (read as heavier and inferior handling). And I say GS-T b/c you see him spin the front tires during the intro scene when he hits "140" and inexplicably spins out in the stadium parking lot (so gay )

would it be wise to suggest nobody should use these movies to analyze the performance of any car?

...these arent exactly the most realistic films ever made.

personally i think theyre about as painful as "days of thunder."
