wtf is going on with the ref(s) in the Rangers-Caps game? In the space of 4 mins of playing time in the second period I saw one of them fall down twice and also get hit with the puck almost causing a turnover.

The second time the ref fell he tripped over the net with nary a player or puck around and blew out his knee. Substitute ref now in.

No supplemental discipline from NHL against Torres for hit on Seabrook.

What the NHL seems to be saying is that blindside hits to the head that occur in the area behind the net are okay. I'm not sure I get that logic.

Its supposed to be a delay of game if you do it intentionally to stop play... but he did have a strap that came loose, so leniency was given.

I've seen vinylbandit do it, I've also seen him called on a delay of game for it. Lol
