Considering your finances are not bad at all...this should be your main problem.4/26/2011 7:38:03 AM |

Outside of new tires, the car is literally costing me nothing right now. No breakdowns or any major work has been needed. It is coming up to 40,000 miles. I don't particularly care for the car, but I have yet to have a reason to get rid of it. But yeah, in a few years, I will most likely get rid of the car.

I have a 30-day late payment blemish on my credit report and it really bothers me. It was late because they didn't send it to my address or didn't have the correct address. The student loan was from 2005 and everyone had moved around since then. I guess with a 711 credit score I shouldn't be too concerned about it, but I can't help but feel like it wasn't entirely my fault. 4/26/2011 9:28:42 AM |

If you live within 20 minutes of Costco you'd be crazy not to buy your tires there. It'd be worth it to get the membership on top of the cost too. Free tire repair, free rotation, filled with nitrogen, and if it's not repairable they'll give you hefty credit on a new tire. I ran over a pair of needle nose pliers and ripped a gash in my tire and they replaced it with a brand new tire for like $12 4/26/2011 10:00:51 AM |

^^ have you tried calling them? Maybe explanning the situation would help. I guess it couldn't hurt. But overall it shouldn't be too bad.
^ I think the closest one to me is either in Greensboro or Winston-Salem. But I do love Costco, so even if it is 30 minutes away, I think it would be worth it. Thanks for the heads up. 4/26/2011 12:39:55 PM |

heh. I haven't bought new tires yet. God damn I'm lazy. Both times I drove to SC it was raining like a motherfucker and I was spinning the front tires in 5th gear just trying to accelerate (it's a small Lancer ES, so it's slow as shit). 6/12/2011 6:52:00 PM |

I bought a set of good tires for my acura a few years ago and was expected to put them on after I did a short trip to DC. Except I ended up getting 2 flats and had a bad 3rd tire on the trip back, which forced me to buy a whole shitty set on the spot. Happy to put them on this month since they are awesome grippy summer tires. 6/12/2011 6:59:05 PM |
