"TEAM MAYO!

FUCK MIRACLE WHIP!"

Mayo is ok. But my dad loves miracle whip so that's what we always had in the house when I was growing up...so I became more fond of it. But I'm cool with substituting mayo when miracle whip's not available.

made a sandwich today(in order of stacking):

Dark German Whole Wheat
slices of deli-shaved Boar's Head honey-maple turkey
slathered whole grain german mustard on top of turkey
pickle sandwich stuffer or whatever they're called
2 slices of fresh farmers market tomatoes
heart of romaine lettuce
mild NY cheddar cheese
Dark German whole wheat bread

i take my sandwiches seriously

I agree, i tend to make a sandwich into a journey from one side to the next where i'm not really sure what i'm going to bite into at what time

lolz at the sick amount of pretentiousness slathered on that sandwich.

Bread makes/breaks a great sandwich. That said I've been eating the $0.99 loaf wheat with three pillowed slices of turkey and one kraft single. LAME. Only takes about 40 seconds to make though and time is precious in the morning. I hate when meat is just laid flat, gotta get them folds.

I'd eat it.

But you're selling it like a masterpiece when it's just a turkey sandwich.

It's not like you roasted your own peppers for it or something.

i was extremely satisfied is all, at the time it tasted like a masterpiece because of quality ingredients, not because i think i'm some master sandwich maker

Todays Sandwich Strategy:

bread/mayo/spinach/tomatoes/turkey/cheese/spinach/mayo(yes!)/bread

I'll fill you all in on how it goes.

I kind of like the pretentious version of sandwiches too... so here's mine:

whole wheat bread/mayo(no other way to put this)/baby spinach/rome tomatoes/oven roasted deli turkey/naturally aged extra sharp cheddar cheese/baby spinach/mayo/whole wheat bread

I will work on making it more pretentious tomorrow

Au contraire--there are many brand snobs about mayo. Ask a Duke's or a Hellman's fan to use another brand and you will likely feel the sting of scorn.

Personally I use the kraft mayo with olive oil--detect no real difference in taste compared to standard mayo but it's marginally healthier.

i have used the olive oil and i really liked it but after a month or so it began to separate

idk why i never buy miracle whip, i actually like it better, oops!

I use regular mayonnaise on hot sandwiches and mayo on cold

dude yall need to quit ruining your turkey sandwiches with cheddar. get dat swiss or pepperjack. leave cheddar for ham.

also, if youre a baller, hit up a roast beef sammy with some horseradish cheddar. its a white cheddar so its not gay.

todays combination was excellent, mostly due to the cheddar cheese i used instead of the crappy kraft american singles

also, the spinach on both sides of the sandwich was a good call

For me it's always the following.

bread/mayo/mustard/meat/cheese/tomato/spinach or lettuce/mayo/bread

if the sandwich is not being consumed immediately, the tomato goes between the meat and cheese.

dear evlbuxmbetty

fro my time working at burger king in high school, i can assure you that proper arrangement of a breakfast sandwich always goes meat, egg, cheese.

then its fair game stuffing as much random shit as you can into the croissanwich
