I've got to say, out of all the places I've drank in, Philly is probably the best. So many bars in Center City, and so many fine girls. Plus a lot of the bars have good beers on tap. Nice job by the Phillies today to pound the Pirates.

Do you want me to post in here every day? I'm sure all the other Braves fans would love me to artificially inflate a thread's post count. Interestingly enough, the Braves thread is only 22 pages long. The Mets and Phillies have never been good at the same time until 2005 or so and the four years after they were and the fans/teams really started to hate each other. It's always been a rivalry waiting to burst out. 90 miles apart, a city whose residents always feel in the shadow of NYC, in the same division, etc. Ask Mets fans today who they despise the most and it's the Phillies.

And Phillies fans have ALWAYS hated the Mets. They have little brother syndrome when it comes to anything New York. Harry Kalas and Cole Hamels both talked shit about the Mets at their damn parade even..

I'd root all day every day for the Braves over the Phillies.

I don't really give a shit about the Mets. If anything most Phillies fans hate the Yankees (so does just about everyone though) but since they aren't in our league I guess I would say that the biggest rival to the Phillies would be the Pirates since they're both in state but they've sucked lately so it kind of fizzled out.
