a few years ago I had this fanny pack that I would wear (jokingly):

but my my friends who know about my purse snobbery were like "you're not really going to wear it... you know you can't - it's not a kate spade!"

but MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE:

kate spade fanny pack, motherfuckers

I win.

It's a shame thats not a Louis Vuitton fanny pack.

It's also a shame that you don't look like Rihanna.

This thread makes me sad. Why all the purse hate??

First I would like to say that other women (and gay men) judge you on your purse. It is just what other women do.

Secondly I would reccomend buying one very nice purse in a conservative style and color that you can have for many years.

No one tears/spills/bumps into, or is just plain clumsy than me. I have a very nicely made leather Coach purse that has survived years of abuse. In fact I have a blue leather coach purse that has survived three years and looks great. The thing is it is better to buy a high quality purse (on sale) for $150 and have it three years than buy a cheaper made $50 one every year.

Lastly I would like to offer one of my pliner purses to the person most deserving. so pm me and tell me why you should have it, or say why someone else should have it.

this is the closest I can find. It is not shiny though. It is an alligator and brown tote.

Can you take a picture of your hand bag collection egyeyes?

I am such a tomboy but I LOVE shoes, hand bags, and scarves. I still can't get myself to buy anything expensive in those categories. Even if I could I don't know if I would. Hmmm.

The purse I was planning on getting turned out to be ugly irl, so looks like I'm using last year's $10 target bag again this Summer. Oh well.

^^They mark it up for the sole reason of being able to. It's an industry.

There are only 3 left of the bag I posted on this page.. if there is still one available when it's time for me to purchase, then I will get it. If it's meant to be it's meant to be. I just LOVE the color! It's a ginormous bag though and I'm a shorty.

Eva Longoria is 5' 2" and im 5' 1" and thinner:

I'm on the epic quest to find the perfect diaper bag. It's been 3.5 years and I have yet to succeed.

Cute. Easy to carry. Plenty of room for diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, baby sling, and then all of my own crap. And enough compartments to keep everything separated. Oh, water proof and doesn't show dirt also help.

For the most part, I use an LL Bean tote because I can just dump everything in it. Unfortunately, I have to dig and dig and dig . . .

Oh! And since diaper bags can be very expensive, I want it to work AFTER it's served its purpose as a diaper bag.

Kate Spade has a really cute diaper bag that looks like a purse (I almost bought it to carry as a handbag lol). We had them at Saks. I'd love one that didn't look like a diaper bag.
