Common sense is a set of prejudices, as Einstein said. Common sense says that injecting yourself with some viruses to keep you from getting sick makes no sense. Common sense said that if we go far enough towards the horizon line, we'd fall off the earth.

Truth, scientific or historical or otherwise, on the other hand, has nothing to do with common sense.

Common sense isn't using another person's knowledge. Einstein wasn't always right.

Half Truths exist. It's all about relativity. Is the world big? Yes.... to us. No... to the universe.


Common sense is when someone tells you the world is spherical, you say "hmm that's plausible since every other celestial body in the universe is spherical."

That's common sense.

Actually we think that because fucking science proved it. That's not common sense.

We had to use science to realize that. When you look at the sun, does it look like a sphere to you?

Science has nothing to do with common sense because it involves subjecting claims to actual investigation and not personal conjecture.
