You can never really get into the groove in this game. Just when it starts to pick up the setting is changed, all your weapons are taken away, and you have to push forward on the controller during a scene where the characters just walk forward and talk. I'm playing through it again and skipping all the cutscenes and it is simply a chore to play. The only enjoyable area in the game is the ship yard where you can dive under water and take out enemies in all kinds of ways.

finally played this. infinitely better than the first one though I was annoyed with the lack of any boss fights and like the first one, it lost steam towards the end, but not nearly as drastic. tempted to play the second one as it seems to have even better reviews than this one.

playing through this now...for the first time. almost 3 years after i bought it.

I sympathize with some of the complaints in this thread. But to be honest it's still a lot of fun. Uncharted 4 is what may push me to the next gen console.

The biggest problem with Uncharted 3 is it came out after Uncharted 2. I've played through both games and had more fun start to finish with 3.
