on a 12 team league I would go with 6. Keeps people interested longer. As far as roster stuff I'm ok with the generic ESPN settings, but thats just me.

I think yahoo uses the 3WR...it just makes the league deeper, adds a spot that you need production at. We don't have to add it, I was just gauging interest.

ok need some feedback on 3WR or 2WR (both still have flex spots) just 3WR makes you find another WR and aids the competition in the league imo.

Ok league is full. I tried waiting around for people on the original list, but today is the 7th day since I asked for emails, and I just want to get this league full so we can get it moving.

I received 4 PMs yesterday of people wanting to join the league. At the moment of those pm's there was 2 open spots left in the 12 team league. I am going to PM each of those 4, and ask them if they have a problem being in a 14 team league, if not we will go with the 14 team league.

If you have already joined and feel that 14 teams is too many, and would like to drop, then so be it. I think that 14 teams is still an ok # for a decent league, and I adjust rosteres accordingly.

Again, if you don't want to be part of a 14 team league let me know and we can fill your spot.

Invites are over, again I apologize to those who initally expressed interest, but this is the 7th day since I posted my request for emails to be PMed for league invites. It is 2 weeks until the first pre-season game, and I just wanted to get this league moving.

League was capped at 14 teams due to surge of interest yesterday. I took the first 14 people to send me their emails.

The way the divisions are set up now are not the way the divisions are going to be, I just posted email addresses in the slots. I am going to assign each team a #1-14 and then use a random # generator to divide up divisions. I do not know many of you, and thus do not know your respective fantasy prowess, but I want to avoid any claims of collusion on division assignments.

^^ I was planning on doing a live online draft. Date will be picked well in advance in hopes of the majority of members being able to make it. Draft will be randomized by ESPN 1 hour before draft.

The settings for the 14 team league initially have 8 teams going to the playoffs (1 week per matchup weeks 14-16). Division winners get spots 1-2, with spots 4-8 going to best records (regardless of division).

Let me know if any changes are desired.

It is setup with 7 teams per division, if we had 16 teams we could do 4 team divisions, but I don't know if we can find 2 more teams that will be active or if that league size is too big.

Also, do we want to do 2 divisions (if you play each team in your division 2 times you will only play 1 out of division opponent if we start playoffs week 15)

or we could just do 1 division and play every team 1 time. for 13 weeks, and have playoffs start week 14.

ok league is full, everyone has accepted invites. For the random division assignments, I used http://www.draftpicklottery.com.

I listed the users in order that I received their email address to send the invites, and used the above website to generate a random order list.



Once the list was randomized I alternated between NFC and AFC until all users had been assigned a division.

How about September 1? Preferably later at night (10:30-ish).

That gives 10 days before the season starts to trade around and set up depth, and most teams will be done with preseason so those unnecessary injury risks should be done.

Draft order hasn't been determined yet, that list was just the list I used to randomize the divisions. It will be an online draft, but September 1st is labor day weekend so I assume a lot of people will be out of town.

Right now draft order is set to be determined randomly by ESPN 1 hour before draft, whenever that day comes.

Will this be an auto pick or live draft? I work that evening. I'm sure it will be next to impossible to find a date that satisfys everyone. I could do the 4th or 5th if it is not a huge concern for others. If it's an autopick type draft then it doesn't really matter.
