I watched every week because of ari, and the whole thing with his wife was actually pretty good I thought. It was just too rushed at the end.

Just because a show is light and fun, doesn't mean it is acceptable to take a shit on a plate, call it the series finale and serve it to the viewers. By artistic pride I simply meant putting out a final product you wouldn't be embarrassed to have your name associated with. After putting years of their life into something you'd think they would want it to end better than that, it didn't even look like it would have been fun to make.

I was honestly pretty pleased with it, other than the tacked on Ari-centric ending, which seems to hint at an Entourage movie.

I loved the use of Led Zep's "Going To California" at the end

^ heh. yeh, my tv standards are fairly low. entourage is nothing but care-free pleasure for me. i'm not invested enough to really care that much how they end it. the season was a total mess, but i'm a sucker for happy endings and good fade-out music tracks

I was pissed we never got to see the confrontation between E and Sloan's dad

along with everyone else, I thought it was a pretty mediocre season and really want to know why it was just 8 episodes

Also, the British reporter going from "I don't date stars" to marrying vince overnight? And Sloan STILL putting up with E's shit after messing with her stepmom?!

There's mindless entertainment and there's just not giving a fuck.

I had a glimmer of hope for a dark ending. Vince kept mentioning his impending marriage throughout the show, but up until the end, we never actually see the girl. I was hoping against hope for something ominous to be afoot, but those hopes were dashed when she steps out of the plane with him, completely abandoning the Terrance/E plot and ending the series like any normal episode.

This show was fun for 2-3 years, and rode that wave for the next 5 or 6, despite getting progressively worse. If Alex Smith is the According to Jim of Quarterbacks, then Entourage is the Eli Manning of TV shows.

there was a 0% chance that entourage would have a dark ending.

I feel like someone as highly educated as Sophia and who says she doesn't date stars would agree to marry Vince after a day.

Also, Ms. Ari....DAT ASS

Whom we now know is named Melissa. I'm more excited about finally knowing her name than anything else. When I heard Lloyd say it, I couldn't believe it.

^You missed Bobby Flay saying it two weeks ago?

I love the little whimper and the totally defeated look that Ari gives right after Flay says her name. I kinda took that to be a meta joke from Jeremy Piven, kinda like "I've done 8 seasons of this show, and this guy is the one that gets to reveal her name? Oh hell no." But maybe I'm reading too much into it.

now i'm mad they gave flay the honor of revealing her name. lloyd saying it last episode would've been much better.

I watched the entire series over the last few weeks, the drop off in entertainment value is quite steep when you put them all back-to-back, even though it's already sucky by the time S8 rolls around.

Every character's plot line this season was dumb:

Ari split with his wife because she was mad somebody leaked that he talked bad to his staff and used a lot of profanity? Didn't he always do that? All the stupid cameos and people they bring on the show and Johnny fucking Galecki gets with Sloan? Weak as hell. Turtle's restaurant idea was a stupid excuse to throw a bunch of athletes on the show, Dice/Drama were just annoying, and Vince convincing somebody who "doesn't date actors" and just wrote a story about him being a womanizer to marry him is even more annoying.

I think the best part about the last season was Caan and that didn't really add anything to the show.

Just watched season 8. I'm disappointed. So much happened with very little explaination a lot left up to speculation between season 7 and 8 as well as each episode. Oh how this show would have been epic if it was an hour long... 30mins is not a lot of time to tell a story. I mean shit, they should have made the final season an hour long to explain some stuff better.

Watch, the movie is gonna be 90 mins long and be just as open ended...

Just finished the last season up. I think if they could have made the season 12 episodes instead of 8 they would have been able to at least give it a little better wrap up. It's just like everything went from shit to awesome in two episodes. I think E should be glad Vince gave him that plane that may have saved his life

Recently picked up HBOGo and finally watched the final season. I guess it's because I hadn't watched Entourage in three years and I forgot how good it was initially...but I didn't think it was that bad. I was entertained and it was nice to see Sloan and Ms. Ari (who looked phenomenal in a bikini at the end...holy shit).
