if the leash were to short for the dog to move around at will, then I would recommend calling animal control. The anti-tethering laws are, in my interpretation, meant for dogs which are on short tethers with little or no access to food/water/room to run/shade/cool garage or for dogs which choke themselves on the collar. If these are not a problem, then I wouldn't call.
As far as 'minding your own business' goes, the laws of your city, county, state and country are your business, as is any breach of those laws. 8/13/2011 9:04:41 AM |
