What's the talk about Joe Rogan? I haven't seen him yet in the series of episodes on Netflix

Also, the stuff they say/poostulate going further and further into the seasons gets very...odd

I personally think that ancient civilizations were much more advanced that most historians think and there has been at least one or two cataclysmic events prior to recorded history that wiped out much more advanced civilizations. Europe had the dark ages that set them back quite a bit, it's not outside the realm of possibility that ancient humans were considerably more advanced than we usually think of them but something destroyed those burgeoning civilizations (flood, disease, etc.) and we had to start back over from scratch. Smaller populations would see much more of an impact from something like that.

Things like finding smelted platinum in South America, the legend of Atlantis, the Antikythera mechanism, and hell pretty much every megalithic structure point to ancient humans being more advanced in many ways than later humans. Why did megalithic building stop? Why did it take so damn long for us to figure out how to make better steel than Damascus steel?

I just think that humanity has lost and had to rediscover quite a bit of knowledge at least once.

Archeology and geology disagree entirely. I'll go with them for the moment.

Graham Hancock has many compelling remarks in regards to the possibility of advanced ancient civilizations.

^^^^I was referring to this:

Quote :
"I had no idea Joe Rogan was bat shit crazy. I mean. He did try to call crazy haired guy out. But he sounded like he was playing devils advocate. "

but then I figured that I has missed

Quote :
"check out Joe Rogan Experience #125

Rogan has a lengthy conversation with Giorgio Tsoukalos, the Ancient Aliens commentator who's crazy tan with crazy hair

super interesting stuff discussed"

Yeah. That was a very interesting podcast. Infact it was the first Rogan podcast I listened to because I wanted to hear what crazy hair guy was going to say.

After you listen to 125 you need to search for the Graham Hancock Rogan podcast.
