An efficient dunk would be one that goes in the hoop.

Dunking effeciently would be be able to consistently make it to the rim, and make the dunk.

You could make an "efficient dunk" (it fall in the hoop), but if you miss 5 in a row leading to the make, or you don't get a chance to dunk several games in a row, you're not "dunking efficiently".

Or that's how I see it, at least.
