Missing Sweezy and Rieskamp hurt us a lot. The secondary takes the heat for it, but the front seven couldn't get to the QB. He had all day to stand back there and wait for someone to get open, and he picked apart our defense.

Hopefully Tenuta dials up some LB blitzes to help out the line until Sweezy & Rieskamp return.

When is Rieskamp returning? I thought TOB was somewhat optimistic about him playing in the Wake game. I guess Sweezy and Teal won't be back for a few more weeks at least.

sucks we have to get schooled by fucking wake and cincinatti early without a bunch of captains and key players. i just hope they can be back and make the 2nd half of the season something special.

Seems like we're always missing some key player(s)...to me it makes no difference to me, I will bleed red (because I'm human) and white (because I fucking love our school) no matter who's on the grid iron at Carter Finley! If I could make it to this game I'd be there and I'd lose my voice yelling for our team.

TOB/Archer/Tenuta need to move Manning to MLB and put Cole back on the outside. Cole is just not fast enough to cover the middle of the field. Let Manning play the role of Irving. Yes our DL is beat up, but our LB core is not making any plays.

Had this exact thought as soon as I heard Cole was moving to MLB, isn't he a little slow to cover all that field. I thought Cole was rather slow last season even at OLB, but you really saw it exposed in the Wake game with all the underneath crossing routes where they could just run away from the linebackers. Audie needs to play outie.

On several of Wake's plays I noticed Manning taking poor angles and ended up chasing rather than cutting off. I think TOB will work on getting players into position this week.
