has anybody ever bothered increasing the Attitude stat or has anybody ever gotten a technical foul or anything (in MyPlayer)?

the description of the stat is something about how your player reacts to referee's calls, but I've never seen it come into play

tempted to lower it as far as possible then hack the shit out of people

I increased emotion just to test it, and I didn't notice any difference between 50 and 70, so I doubt it does much.

looks like they're releasing new shoes now, saw some Lebron shoe that was added Friday December 2nd, so that should be pretty cool going forward...it was +5 Dunk but I'm sure they'll add some with other attributes

just experienced the MyPlayer glitch where you get named to the All Star team but don't start (thanks Dirk), and afterwards I go from leading my team in minutes, to being the 8th man

i lead the NBA in points per game, yet I don't start anymore after being named to the AS team as a rookie

on the bright side, this game's offensive challenge is for me to make one combined layup or dunk

I had the allstar bench glitch too but got back to starting a couple games later. The game is solid but I get annoyed by how the game will try to be too realistic with shooting percentages, if you have a 99 3pt shot, are wide open and time it perfectly, it should go in 100% of the time, not make or miss based off your closeness to a realistic %. also for the same reason being "hot" or on fire... no point it doesnt matter you are stuck between 40-60% shooting

had a pretty epic run last night...with about 7 games left in the season, my Rockets were fighting for the 8th playoff spot with the Suns and Warriors. I won 6 in a row to put me in a 5-way tie for 2nd-6th in the West, beat Dallas in the season finale to win the Midwest outright and get the #2 overall seed

Picked up my PG MyPlayer again, man I love the GM AI in this game it is so weird.

My Player quickly got traded from the Pistons to the Heat in my first season (as part of a deal for Bosh).

Then they traded LeBron in a deal that brought Carmelo here (and some other jokers), making the big 3 me, Wade, and Carmelo.

Now Wade got angry about not getting enough, so he was traded to the Clippers in exchange for Griffin and Gordon.

Now the Heat's starting lineup is: Me, Eric Gordon, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, and Udonis Haslem. Lob City has come to Miami!

playing my 2nd NBA game with my 6'7" pass first point guard Irving Johnson or Earvin Johnson cant remember if that was on the list

my other my players were either scorers or big men who were always down low contesting shots and crashing the boards, this is a nice change of pace

think i had like 24 and 8 in the rookie showcase as well as 4 boards a few steals and a couple blocks

drafted by the Wizards, and answered all three teams pre draft interviews with enthusiasm, i figured magic would do it that way

even though my larry byrd character gives the most selfish answer in the post game pressers all day long

I picked up an old MyPlayer that I hadn't played in a while. It was an SF drafted by the Knicks, and holy shit I forgot how awful the coaching/management AI can be in this game some time. For some reason D'antoni likes to play big for long stretches at a time, which results in this lineup:

Sometimes I like to play Association where I essentially only play the role of the GM, I don't actually play the games. So I started off with the Cavs (I like young teams or teams that I can shed salary quickly). Generally start building the team up young, then pick up Dwight Howard in free agency. And then we pick up LeBron James, who had yet to win a ring. The roster became:

PG - Kyrie Irving
SG - Autogenerated Warrick, stud.
SF - LeBron James
PF - Tristan Thompson
C - Dwight Howard

Perennial contender, LeBron wins 2 MVPs and we make it to the Finals twice. LeBron bitches out after this contract. Then the Cavs win 2 years in a row. LeBron retires with 6 MVPs, and 0 rings.

I don't think the game can load more than 1 dunk package at a time in a game. Doing the air jordan dunks are sick but I gotta roll 'em when every scrub on the bobcats suddenly can dunk from the free throw line too.

i need to work on this pass-first PG thing...i played just the key games my rookie year for the Wizards backing up Wall, then requested a trade so in my 2nd year I'm on Orlando playing each game...not a starter yet but getting close...need to work on my turnovers like a motherfucker though

my average statline is probably:

11 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 3/5 FG, 100% FT, 9 turnovers

but forcing it inside to Howard is always tempting

one of my best games with Magic so far, still a bench player, but they pulled the starters main lineup just now with 2 minutes to go since we're up 79-48 at Milwaukee

20 minutes, 9 points, 5 boards, 12 dimes, 3 steals, 1 block, 100% FT, Teammate grade B...also completed all 3 objectives, as well as both the dynamic objectives they gave me...1700+ experience in a non-key game where I wasn't player of the game and 'only' got a B grade

on the bad side, 6 turnovers, 1 foul, 36% from the field

back to the good side, my matchup Brandon Jennings had 6 points, 2 boards, 4 assists, 2 turnovers, 2-12 shooting

a couple more games and i'll be a starter! Glad I requested a trade to Orlando, Howard probably accounted for 2/3 of my assists, and another few "pass leading to foul" teammate grade boosts

^i had a PG myplayer on 2k11. Started out with the Wizards, got extremely tired of backing up John Wall for the first 10-15 games, so I requested a trade to the Lakers and another team that is escaping me. Ended up being traded to the Lakers straight up for Derek Fisher. Instant Starter, and Instant Fame. Went from Averaging 4 pts and 3 assists per game 15 games into the season, to 18 pts, 11 assists, 6 rebounds per game at the end of the season. Pick and Rolls with Pau and Bynum are almost unfair. I had like 10 triple doubles. Kobe shot like ass...which was surprising. I would run plays for him at times, and he would just throw up these awkward, off balance shots that had no chance. His average game would be like 3-10 for 8 pts.

So my center was drafted to the Warriors, pretty respectable team. We are definitely making the playoffs. Starting lineup is Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, Dorrell Wright, David Lee, Me at C. Score more than any other team in the NBA

PG is easy to get steals and points... thinking about trying a tall shooting guard so I could have a chance at rebounds and blocks.

The block cap for pgs is like 60... i wish it wasnt so expensive to increase the caps... especially since you can only increase them by 5ish and that doesnt seem to affect anything.

also wtf... if I have 3point shot at 99, and get get an A- off at anytime doing a fade away, why does my guy only make 20%? All possible abilities and attributes are maxed out. In simulation I see 5-5 3pt, or 8-10 3pt. When I shoot in game, wide open on fast break... A+ = Brick.
