I'm impressed he actually considered the role. He's only done a handful of R rated movies, and none of them were remotely edgy, while this one is very controversial. He has obviously kept his brand/image in mind when deciding what roles to take, but perhaps he's entering the "who gives a fuck" era of his career.

Really loved it. Best Tarantino movie since Pulp Fiction IMO (I wasn't over the moon about Kill Bill or Inglourious Basterds, even though they're good movies).

EDIT: can't wait till a youtube clip of the baghead scene pops up. i will watch it over and over. best scene in the movie (among many, many awesome scenes).

The last paragraph sums it up.

That's one of the things that makes this movie good, IMO. I think the questioning the author feels is forcing him, and hopefully others, to realize that lumping all people of a race together (whether its your own or not) is antiquated.

Yeah, there are parts you wonder why people are laughing, but there are parts where you might be the only one laughing, and it's not always all one race or the other laughing. Different people are different, even if they're the same race, and their different experiences help the decide what's funny.
