For tequila I think Lunazul blanco is a great value for the money. 100% de agave and costs about the same as Cuervo gold (which is a blend). 6/21/2012 5:09:46 PM |

ok I just got back from a lunch break run to the liquor store. I got a bottle of the kraken rum and a bottle of sweet carolina sweet tea vodka. I originally had the firefly in my hand but I couldn't resist the sweet carolina after I saw it.
Do you guys suggest anything else I should get? It's just me drinking, everyone else is a teetotaler, and I thought maybe I dont want to get too much or spend too much so I only got those two bottles. But then I thought why not splurge, since I will only turn 29 for the second time once! 6/22/2012 1:40:53 PM |

I should try lunazal blanco as I am on a beer hiatus and tequila phase for the summer. I usually get Sauza on the cheap. 6/22/2012 5:12:39 PM |

i can vouch for lunazul blanco
tried it recently and its pretty much like a middle-shelf-easy-to-keep-down-while-taking-shots tequila 6/22/2012 5:30:25 PM |

I mean enough stuff for most people to be happy wen they open it up, I guess. All the standard liquors, and a handful of useful liqueurs. 9/29/2012 7:19:24 PM |

What is a good brand of gin to keep on hand? I can't stand the stuff, so I have no real opinion. 1/5/2013 12:09:54 AM |

my roommate likes hendricks... I prefer tangeray (sp?) or Bombay. I also keep tonic on hand for it, although I probably haven't had one in over 5 months 1/5/2013 12:14:17 AM |

Tonic will keep for a long time in the glass bottles, right? I'm not buying anything that will go bad. Just slowly building a collection. It makes me happy to know I can make most any ordinary drink if I want to. 1/5/2013 12:18:55 AM |

Hendricks is a different type of gin..I really enjoy it, but you're going to get some cucumber kick and that may not be for everyone. If I had to have one gin in my collection, it would have to be Bombay Sapphire. Coincidentally, I have Hendricks, Seagrams, and Cardinal..no Bombay 1/5/2013 11:04:37 AM |

So Bombay is a good all around? Sounds like that is what I will be getting. Then my collection will be complete aside from mixers. 1/5/2013 11:09:56 AM |
