Honestly, why does it matter if your internet service provider is an "ESPN3 affiliate" as for whether or not you can watch it on the Xbox 360? I don't understand why that would matter at all.

Uh, how does your ISP have anything to do with them making money? The ads and the fact that you already need an XBL subscription should cover that. I suppose some networks paid to have it, that way excluding networks that didn't pay but that just seems stupid. If it wasn't limited to a select number of networks, more people could watch it, thereby generating more ad revenue.

i know part of disney/espn's new deal with time warner included espn3 content, so for sure they got some money for it...thats why cable subscriptions are up. not sure why they havent figured out how to make it work on the xbox, since we can get website and app access
