i cant tell if you were accusing me of complaining about jobs going overseas...cuz i never did.
really still isnt more than about 1/4 of page of things to talk about without expanding to the merits of these exotic products. plus there really only can be so many exotic products. the reason these businesses work so well is strictly because so many people dont bother(or think to do it). so again, what are we supposed to be discussing? 1/6/2012 3:29:31 PM |

Squidoo and a lot of fucking best selling books. One of which inspired my old boss to quit his job and and build a product he sold for a few pennies. 1/7/2012 1:07:17 AM |

Right, he promoted a website with user-created content and he motivated your boss. He creates style and not substance. Substance is Muhammad Ali. Style is Don King. Don't get me wrong, style has value, but this guy isn't a genius because he noticed some marketing gimmicks. How much staying power do most of those remarkable things have anyway? Like at the end when he thought it was a good idea for a town to make a giant lava lamp. Really? 1/7/2012 9:33:31 AM |

But the style is a product with real results and economic impact. Creation and art don't have to be tangible they just have to provide value.

Everyone makes mistakes, the more mistakes you make the better you get and the more you learn. One of the greatest failures of education is it's insistence on failure as a negative. It should encourage you to try again. Most of the greatest business leaders fail countless times before they knock it out of the park. A lot of them do it really young.... If you aren't putting yourself out there and failing consistently you're not trying hard enough.1/10/2012 7:27:10 PM |
