There's nothing anyone can do about the depth problem right now anyway. Next year we lose CJW and Johnson (and probably CJL but hopefully not), but gain Lewis, Purvis, and Warren, plus TDT and Harris will hopefully be improved and ready to play along with Vandy. The ship isn't going to get righted this year but things are probably looking better for the future than they ever did with Sid.

Ummm, its pretty much the same people working on these games whether its on ESPN, FSN, or ACC Network. The majority of these guys are local: no one is going to spend the money to fly in an entire TV crew.
Next time we have a home game on ESPN, see if you can get a look at the TV truck: more than likely, it says "Raycom" down the side.

I live in Cary, and ESPN3 says this game is blacked out in my area. When I go to the ACCN site, it says they are affiliated with WRAL. When I go to WRAL, they have it listed on ACCN:

I get what you are saying but I am really just talking about raw talent.
The simple way to look at is you take a team that went 15-16 and take away it's leading scorer and starting point guard and replace them with an undersized back up pg and a couple of freshmen who aren't really contributing. All the talent that you speak of was on the team last year and most of the improvement in the players can be put on the coaching staff motivating them properly and putting them in a system to thrive. They didn't suddenly turn into different players. If you could have Smith, Javi and Harrow back in place of Harris, De Thaey and Johnson wouldn't you do it?? Can you imagine the improvement in players like Harrow and Smith? The raw talent was far superior on last years team this years team is just much better at getting as much as possible out of the talent on the team.

Should be a pretty telling game. Wake is tenfold better than they were last year, but they're still just a middle-of-the-road team.

McKie is their best player, but CJL should be able to hold his own. Harris is the one who's capable of going off -- he's quick, crafty, and a good shooter. CJW will start out on him, but I'm thinking Brown plays on him a lot. He's just too quick for CJW.

They're thin down low and rarely score from the post, but Ty Walker has given them a big boost on the defensive end. He nearly had 10 blocks against Maryland. Howell can bully him to the basket, I'm just hoping he can get his shot up.
