looking for circles on a map is a great description of what playing this game is like.

Yeah, that's what it devolved into for me as well. I end up with about two dozen open side quests and the only way to remove the clutter was to set one as active, fast travel to the discovered location nearest the circle, and hit them one at a time.

This game didn't really interest me for long. I can't really put my finger on why. Maybe part of it was never getting an item I felt was truly awesome, things like a simple spider taking 100 hits, and when that spider is taking 100 hits all I can think of is "great, now I'll have to go back for repairs." It has its good aspects but there are too many other games out there right now.

If I had to sum up this game in one phrase I'd call it Skyrim Nerf™ Edition... even though Skyrim is a much easier game.

that's sad about skyrim. I also employ the same tactic for quest clearing. I play on the highest difficulty and feel like I've had exactly 1 challenging moment that lasted a couple hours. that was that crazy blood guy in the cave but I found I could cheese the entire encounter with my shield. chakrams + my build = completely OP. I almost want to respec into garbage talents to make the game more challenging but that wouldn't be fun either. also, there are tons of items/gems that are absurdly OP. I have items that are a flat 30% damage boost or +10% health. I wish the game had an armory to show, and I'm only lvl 17 or so

really enjoyed my play through. if I could finda way to fix the run glitch on my guy I'd buy the dlc no question. sadtimes.
