All of the teams mentioned in this thread were better than us this season Drexel, uva, etc.

Shouldn't it be the last eight in get a playin game?

Hopefully we dodge it bc lord knows we will catch a lot of hell for having to play it and if we lose it , its almost more embarrassing than just going to the nit

The "first round" sucks because most teams in that instance are on the bubble and don't find out till sunday night if they make it. Then you have to go to Dayton Monday, play Tuesday and if you win travel to some other location Wednesday and possibly have to play Thursday. I know players are used to that stuff, I guess it's just hell from a logistics standpoint and a watered-down "tournament experience"

theyre beating us by 4 in kenpom and were beating them by 16 in rpi (which is what really matters)

as long as were just playing along with hypotheticals, I'd say we'd beat the fucking pants off of them if we played them in the tourney. matter of fact I hope we play them in the play in game so once we lay that 20 point beatdown I can point back to this and say "I told you so". you're talking like someone who has never seen drexel play. Did you watch the game against virginia? they scored 34 fucking points...not in a half..in the WHOLE game. dont be a fucking midmajor dickrider like the rest of the sports media.
