i believe that its just a re-branded joye ego. if it only works sometimes could it be you are letting it dry out? maybe try some of the cartimizers recommended on the previous page

After a few days, vapor production typically starts to go down. I only use cartos for about a week before they start really crappy out in vapor production and tasting funny. one problem with ecigs is the lack of so called throat hit. cigarettes kick you in the throat whereas ecigs are much more mellow...many people miss that throat hit and have trouble adjusting.

Use cartos a week or less and never burn them until they are dry. i carry around a bottle of eliquid to refill during the day. ecigs stopped me from buying cancer sticks, but they are definitely finicky and high maintenance.

Fwiw, i use the volt x2 battery and volt x2 clearomizers from smokelesimage. i mostly vape their RY4 eliquid. Much cheaper options out there as far as liquid goes, but thats what works for me. all of smokelessimage and vapor4lifes stuff is compatible....its based on the old kr808d-1 battery, so all batts and cartos fit each other. Smokelessimage cartos are much better though because theyre horizontal coil.

Never heard of an Inferno, though, but its probably just a rebranded battery

Never noticed this thread. Started a couple years ago with a DSE-901. Just grabbed an eVic last weekend and like it so far. Digging Kanger's eVods and waiting for Protank to come back in stock.

Where is everyone getting their juice from these days?

Yeah I thought about going the diy route and probably should since I can get wholesale PG. Aintnobodygottimefodat.

Mt Baker seems to be the best value I've found lately.

This isnt an ad, I just found this place by me and love it.

http://www.mistymountainvapors.com/

You can go in, try any flavors you want and the people there are really nice. Its right off Wesgate.

For the beginner, dont buy cheap, Dont buy gas station e-ciggs, you will be disappointed. Check out this store and get a 1000mah ego T upgrade pass through battery, charges with a mini usb. ($30).

Next get a tank, ($7 to $10)

You an also get the atomizer replacements 5 for $7 to $10

Then pick out a flavor and nicotine level. 10mL $7 or 30mL $16. I recommend starting with 10mL till you find one you really like.

Right there for less than $50 you have a high quality set up and can start vaping.

I bought the original Joy e tech kit over a year ago for $120 and dont use it any more (fiance actually uses it with 0mg nicotine because she likes the flavors.) I wish I would have known then what I know now and could have saved a lot of money.... but it's still cheaper than smoking!

Nice to see some shops popping up in Raleigh, now if they can start working toward the east.

I saw some $16.00 ego clone starter kits the other day but can't find them now. I gave my eGo passthrough away, but I rarely ever used that functionality. Money is probably better spent on a Twist and a smoktech battery or cheap passthrough imo.

I'll check those places, I assume their nicotine is USA and legit? I've only tried stuff from like 4 vendors and have been relatively happy but always looking for new stuff to try. Once I got desperate and bought some DeKang at this local tobacco shop. *shudder*

I was at work the other day and all the sudden I smelled pancake syrup. It was a serious WTF moment.

Turned out it was some dude vaping.

The smell (of that particular flavor, at least) is way more obnoxious than cigarette smoke.

I had some blueberry waffles once and it got pretty obnoxious, but I couldn't imagine anything being worse than constant tobacco smoke. (First exhales and occasional cigar smoke excluded)

You'd rather smell actual cigarette smoke than something that smells like pancake syrup?

decent deal for folks who dont make their own juice:

http://www.azurevaping.com/

120ml for $16.00 plus $6.00 shipping. Can get up to 32mg strength so you could cut that down to a more reasonable level with $15/quart PG from amazon to save even more.

bought my first e-cig. went with a gas station brand (Cig2o). I like it so far. Apparently the cartomizers are refillable, so that's a plus

^the FDA is going to regulate ecigs like they do tobacco very soon. originally, they said they were an illegal drug delivery device but they lost that one in court thank god.

Got a coupon for a free Vuse with 2 free cartridges. Never really got much from gas station e-cigs, always ended up needing a cigarette. But it's not that bad. I was getting spaced out after using it the first morning, and just assumed it wasn't working (like all the other ones i tried), but I think i was actually getting too much nicotine
I'll use this up and probably just buy a kit if I want to continue with e-cigs. The cost of the proprietary Vuse cartridges would be too much I think.

i bought a Vapor4Life starter kit... never planned on getting an e-cig but it was 5 bucks and i thought i might enjoy it instead of the occasional cigar... i can dial up the voltage and it produces a bunch of smoke/vapor/whatever it's called.

According to friends who have a bit of experience, they recommend the volcano, as the best off the shelf, then dual coil, the aspire nautilus, and then the create your own sub ohm units.

Not really sure how they all rank, but they seem to like them.

I used one of those PAX devices over the weekend. I'm not a smoker of any kind, but i was on vacation and said F it. Definitely not a device i could have ever imagined when I was into smoking dope years ago. Pretty cool device. Just saw that it's almost $250 retail.
