I expect nothing less from vinylbandit, but do you honestly fucking think that one of the pioneers of electronic dance music had nothing to fucking do with influencing a scene devoted to motherfucking electronic dance music?

Influenced, sure, but that has nothing to do with what a New Order gig is like.

I'm sure no one has ever gotten spun at a New Order show ever.

I feel like being a dick and waving around some New Order/Joy Division 1st UK presses I bought for a dollar not too long ago, as a distraction here.

I will be selling a copy of PLC soon that I paid way too much for at a decent price if interested.

The xx is apparently NOT playing, as they have booked up the dates of the festival. I thought this was a given, but I guess it was never confirmed, so whatever.

Lineup is officially out tomorrow. The Primus thing, yeah; it sucks. I don't know anybody else big this year that hasn't been already mentioned here that I'd even imagine are playing. We'll see.

Everybody is saying that DIIV is playing. I honestly hate that tired, tired, shoegazy crap, but to each his own...

^pretty much. This makes me more excited to spend $$$$ for grizzly bear in NYC. I probably won't be going to this.

Orbital / Squarepusher / Prefuse... pretty much all I'd be interested in

great musicians i'm sure, but not really what i expected. tickets are only $100 so i'll probably still go

i thought two days meant they'd get better acts. clearly they decided to spend money on other festivals.

Justice, Nas, Pantha Du Prince, Blondes, Carl Craig, Four Tet, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Andy Stott, Squarepusher, Cold Cave, Santigold, Richie Hawtin, Killer Mike, Trust, Orbital will be what I try to catch. some of those overlap though so who knows
