You saw what I said right
" He advocates free market until it crosses the line of infringing on individual liberty" which is where the government comes in. 11/15/2012 11:59:15 PM |

I think it's funny that #1 you consider every government in the world as "pointing guns at peaceful people" #2 you think that could ever exist.11/16/2012 10:08:46 AM |

Every government literally and metaphorically points guns at peaceful people. What happens in any country when you avoid paying taxes? When the police come, what happens if you don't agree to go with them? It's not to say that governments don't provide important services, but my assertion is that those services could be provided without the initiation of force. It's radical, but so was the idea of women's suffrage and the abolition of slavery a couple hundred years ago. 11/16/2012 11:40:39 AM |

It's not radical, it's a fairy tale. You can't impose your will on others without any punitive measures availible to you. You can't stop people from stealing, murdering, or usurping. 11/16/2012 12:42:22 PM |

This doesn't make sense.

I can't, or no one can? There is government-run and private security. It's obviously possible to stop these things from happening.11/16/2012 2:00:32 PM |

I'm not opposed to force, just the initiation of force. Pacifism is silly, non-aggression isn't. 11/16/2012 2:09:34 PM |

They're both silly. You're so keen on saying what human nature is, yet there isn't an animal in the world that doesn't use violence in some form to maintain their social order.
You just use ambigious terms like "initiation of force" to try to make the only possible way to enforce social order like barbaric. Is theft an "initiation of force"? If not how do you stop theft?

I believe you know the answer to this and it's not as ambiguous as it seems.]11/26/2012 1:35:29 PM |

Then answer the question and don't dance around it. 11/26/2012 1:38:16 PM |

I will not answer this question because it's self explanatory. Any explanation I give you will be taken out of context using one of the thousands of synonyms in the English language to make the answer seem absurd or ridiculous like you have done with "initiation of force" ] 11/26/2012 1:49:18 PM |
