I've never thought Amerson would be an elite CB in the NFL ... he just doesn't seem to be quick enough or have the fluid hips scouts talk about. But he has potential to be an incredible FS in the pros with his size and ball skills. Coming back another year and trying out FS (even if it's just in spring practice) would be great for him and the team. And after the beating he took this year, it'd probably improve his draft stock a lot.

A secondary with Burriss, Johnson, and Byrd at CB and Amerson at FS is legit.

I think moving Johnson back to free safety would make more sense than moving Amerson there. He would have to greatly improve his tackling to be a safety in the NFL

Lol considering he played for Mike Reed the secondary coach and not Tenuta, I doubt he cares.

Tenuta was LB/Co-head coach/whatever BS title they gave him.

yeah, but Tenuta was also the DC in waiting. I don't know the relations of this football team, but maybe Amerson liked what he saw.

Or he could just be feeling out draft prospects
