FSU was not in prevent. In fact, their guys were all over our guys on short routes and glennon was just zipping it in there. Prevent leaves short routes open. Miami TN and UCONN weren't in prevent either but a lot of teams keep safeties deep on us out of respect for glennon and lack of respect for our running game.

Our guys are definitely in better rhythm when we are in a hurry up. Face it, our normal offense inhibits our scoring. You'd have to blind to not see that by now. Why do you think we erase big leads every game?

I say run no huddle the first 2 series and see what happens. easy to script the plays in practice.

Bible said they were trying to run the no huddle agains USA/Citadel so Glennon could get comfortable with it. Surprised we haven't run it more though.

Considering how well the line played against FSU, I really don't think Wallace and Crisp should be rushed back and both should have to earn their playing time. The line arrangement we had against FSU should at least get to go again this week against the Twerps.

I've been watching videos of the Maryland games on ESPN.com. There's no reason we shouldn't get a lot of pressure on their freshmen QB Hills. UConn sacked him 6 times. Wake sacked him 3 times. Hell, William & Mary got 3 interceptions. And with a dismal rushing attack, we should bring the heat early and force them to beat us on the ground. Ideally, we can get pressure with just 4 and drop 7.

And for being such a strong defensive team, the UVA offense had 386 yards last week. They really shot themselves in the foot with penalties and turnovers. I expect Glennon to take a few sacks. But I feel better about our chances if it's a close game in the 4th quarter with our QB over theirs.
