I have bad news for you.

Your problems will continue forever because I am simply not the problem.

Remove me from the equation and the Salem witchhunters will pick someone new to gang up on. The cycle is really easy to see especially when people namedrop the users like salisburyboy and the way the userbase have treated him and others like him.

What drives these trolls crazy is that they've never dealt with someone like me who can take their bullshit forever. I mean, look at how many threads have been made to ban me. They can't beat me, so they resort to cheap tactics of calling for suspension.

All I have to do is simply post in a thread and they say I'm derailing it.

Let me know if you think these are relevant, on-topic posts.

I enjoy reading Sports Talk a lot, the coach search and UNC scandal coverage lead me to finally get a sn. In addition to Sports Talk, I really enjoyed the discussions in the Soap Box. There have been some great posters and I've changed my opinion on a few issues because of them. Of course there are a lot of posters I disagree with, and some who have a different understanding logic than I do, but they all engage and debate. Sometimes they are bad arguments, sometimes mine are bad arguments, but they are arguments and discussions. That's the difference between everyone else and you.

You just try to play the smart guy, and think that posting something you think is witty will make it clear that you know more about the issue or that a youtube video or random link is an adequate explanation. You think that not responding will lead people to think you just know so much more that you can't be bothered to reply. You really seem to think that we are all here to engage you, and that if we don't respond to an obtuse point or question that you posted, its because your point was so good that we can't respond to it. Let me be very clear about this: none of those assumptions are true. We all find you annoying. The people who post in support of you, they like you because they can laugh at you. I have no idea what kind of person you are in real life, but on the internet you really need to chill out and take a step back.

geniusboy is correct that many of you are just as much at fault for threads getting derailed, because you continue to engage him. many of you conduct yourselves with less civility and respect than geniusboy has as well. there's a LOT of leniency here about allowing yourself to be goaded into stupid arguments with others, and how civil you choose to be with each other. this is why geniusboy and you people have been able to let this drag on for so long (and this isn't limited to geniusboy either - there is ALWAYS some segment of users here who follow this pattern). both sides of this argument are at fault. however, in my judgement, geniusboy's activity here has shifted further from just expressing his opinions and more toward being only intended to rile up others and making TSB equivalent of euphalo padding. and now he is suspended and will not be welcome back. i have not decided whether or not i will be taking a more aggressive approach against the rest of you who, in my judgement, are also guilty of making conversation here less than delightful. but like theduke said, if it happens you better watch out cus geniusboy isn't the only one who engages in these destructive patterns.
