I seriously want to know how a real tree is more dangerous than an artificial tree.

as long as you keep the thing watered, it's perfectly safe
we have a real tree. it's 2 or 3 feet tall. delivered to my door straight from the mountains already squared up in a plastic bowl thing. open box, remove tree, place on table, let wife decorate. love it. 12/10/2012 8:48:08 PM |

Let it dry out really well before you apply any type of sealant or lacquer to it. 12/13/2012 11:37:45 AM |

There is a shop in Blowing Rock that has a local artist that takes reservations each year to carve your Christmas tree stump into a keepsake carving. We haven't been in the past couple of years, but I think it is the Christmas in Blowing Rock store http://www.aperfectpresent.com/catalog/index.php, but I can't find anything about it on their website. 12/13/2012 11:38:01 AM |
