no one ever said we were wearing black. they were referring to the fact that a Wood-less lineup (which may or may not happen) would be all-black players.

besides, having a "black-out" at a game with 3,000 people in the stands would look stupid.

as for blacking out ESPN3, that is likely since we know this game will be on ESPN

Historically, we always look extra sluggish in these post exam games. Not sure what it is about us, but we always come out flat.

Fortunately this team is terrible enough that it SHOULDN'T matter.

They suck both offensively and defensively and they are one of the worst defensive rebounding teams in the nation so we should be able to attack the offensive glass. They don't really do anything particularly well on either end except defend the 3. They don't shoot threes at all (or make them) which is one of our biggest weaknesses defensively. They have pretty good size and experience but that's about it really.

I'm starting to lose a little faith in Gottfried by giving Lewis so many minutes. The dude just can't hack it, and I dare say won't hack it. He's just not an ACC guard. He should only be in if Zo can't breathe and needs a spell. But he shouldn't play more than 4-5 min a game.

I still think Lewis can become a program player and be a productive backup PG, but he's obviously not going to be one this year.

Hopefully he improves quickly and doesn't kill us come conference play. His O-rating is significantly worse than Alex Johnson's right now and that's saying something. He looks like a walk-on rather than a McDonalds All-American. There's no way he would have taken minutes from Raymond this season.
