Honestly, does it even matter who officiates?

We all know how NC State is perceived by the league office and the referees. Just look at last night's game. Calling security over while reviewing a play to check the game clock? Give me a fucking break.

I truly have a hard time believing ACC officials can remain totally impartial while refing a state game. They don't like our fans and they don't respect our players or coaches. And that's fine! But that sentiment needs to be shown towards ALL ACC teams and fans, but it's clearly not.

It amazes me how other coaches in the ACC (not naming names) are allowed to give referees what for and they just stand there and take it like professionals. However, when Gott and co started giving the referees what for last night the refs kept herding them back to their seats obviously threatening to call a technical foul on them if they don't sit down and shut up.

Was it the duke game last year when the refs were letting them play and we were dominating and second have they called like 3 fouls in the first minute and it changed the whole pace of the game.

My guess is that we get called for several charges thanks to Duke's flopping prowess. Then when Duke does the same thing to us we get blocking fouls. After watching the Duke/Clemson game, I sure hope our guys aren't so scared of the charge call that it completely neuters the offense like it did for Clemson.

Well, Kelly is their best 3-point shooter (52%) and has made the 2nd most 3s on the team (25).

if this game isn't more exciting to you then you're not paying attention.

we're in a position to beat #1 duke, increase our ranking about 8 spots, take a commanding lead in the conference and start the season 14-2, which is a really good record by the way. even moreso, if we win this game, it's not super crazy to think we might start league play in the 7-0 area. this is way more exciting than our normal inconsequential games where we're unranked before and after, not a threat to win the league before or after, have a mediocre record before and after.
