Dude, seriously.

You are acting like a fucking retard.

GO IN THE FUCKING OSD FOR THE MONITOR, GO DOWN TO COLOUR TEMP, SELECT "USER", THEN MANUALLY ADJUST THE RGB VALUES UNTIL YOU'RE HAPPY.

READ THE FUCKING MONITOR MANUAL BEFORE YOU BITCH AND MOAN ON THE INTERNET.

And I swear to God if you reply to this thread with any more bullshit yellow non-sense, I will haunt you for eternity.

Seriously Noen can be a dick sometimes (namely when it comes to piracy hypocrisy) but I gotta side with him on this one. It seems like the entire thread has pointed you down every correct avenue possible and can't help but feel as though we're being trolled.

I don't recall where you actually ended up making the purchase but Amazon has an absolutely amazing return policy on just about everything and if it was BestBuy (even if it's not) I bet you could take the monitor in the store and hook it up to one of the Geek Squad's test PCs or a display laptop to rule out some weird cat-based interference or what not.

Or just return it and save up for one of the Korean LG IPS' that have been linked in the other monitor threads.

lol

why would I troll fucking Tech Talk?

I don't troll, period

I don't know if it's my vision or if I'm just not used to this type of backlight or what

I did purchase through Best Buy's online site so maybe I will try what you said and take it in

I guess returning it is an option too but I mostly like it, and that's a chore

though I guess it would be just as much of a chore to take it into a Best Buy..

Well as long as you overcome the chore of taking it to the BB if it doesn't suit your fancy in store you can just return it while you're there. And/Or exchange it. What did you pay for it? Those monoprice displays are apparently the shiznit and I'm probably going to grab one when they come back in stock next month. Same panel that the Cinema display uses.

Did you get a pair of the blue film THX glasses when you said you followed everything in the article? I just bought a 47" Vizio and haven't even calibrated it yet.

You didn't install Flux at some point and then forgot about it by chance did you?

I didn't install Flux

I paid 269 I think, but honestly I would prefer to get one cheaper if they're all gonna be like this :3

I didn't see anything in the article about THX glasses
