last OSHA inspection: 1985

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAA5NmmEWqc

This is the only video I have seen that captures the shockwave (which I am also guessing is why you hear the wooshing sound following the blast).

Note: It seems a lot of people in TX have VVS (Vertical Video Syndrome). Three videos I have seen of the actual blast are all shot this way in addition to many showing the aftermath.

People die and you have the gall to complain about the orientation of the cellphone video?

You are right that is a trivial statement given the seriousness of what happened, but this is also chit chat. I have seen far worse things posted. Just take a look through the Boston bombing thread for a few examples there.

The rails being pushed together is pretty gnarly.

I think a ton of UAN only covers 10-15 acres, depending on what you're planting. only being able to stock 500 lbs at a time would have put them out of business

however, killing 14 people will definitely put you out of business

to be allowed to exceed 400 lbs (i said 500lbs before, but its 400 lbs), you have to register with DHS per CFATS regulations. they probably had 300 tons.
