Whatever. I worded it poorly. My point from my previous post stands

UJustWait...until I derail the thread with stubbornly illogical arguments

anyway i think this might be the best initial lineup this festival (including moogfest '10-'12) has booked. Absolutely loaded with intriguing big names (NIN, NMH, Godspeed, AnCo, Gary Numan) and absolutely killer smaller names (Chromatics, Disclosure, Rustie, Jessie Ware, The Bug, Daniel Johnston). Definitely going. I imagine the conflicts are going to be brutal.

^the promoter said this was only about 1/3 of the lineup so probably more like ~40 artists to be added. I don't imagine there'll be any more big names so I'm just hoping for awesome mid-level names like John Talabot, Cut Copy, !!!, Autechre, etc.

Cut Copy's not a big-ish name by now?

Yeah, they definitely are, I would picture them going between Gary Numan and Godspeed. I just meant no huge names.

NIN is the only group I've heard of.

what's the point of posts like that?

"my musical tastes have literally not evolved at all since 1999" isn't really a thing you should be proud of

Tier 1 price passes are sold out. Tier 2 is available now. The Tier 1 price is super limited, just like it was for Hopscotch.

also for someone who's talked a lot of shit about Bassnectar I'll say I enjoyed the 15 minutes of his set I watched. loudest thing I've ever seen (the bass was shaking cars parked outside and across the street from the civic center), awesome stage setup... Pretty Lights was lolbad though and I stand by everything I've ever said about that fat piece of shit.

Highlights: Disclosure, Rustie, NMH, AnCo, THE ORB (so good), Cashmere Cat, Darkside, Cut Copy, T Williams
