you say that like I'm not correct... looking at Kiwi's responses from this thread, she is looking for honest advice, however she has not changed her viewpoint that she is a "parent"... she is NOT. I don't mean to come across as crass or trolling or any of that (this is old school)... I just think that a non-parent has many routes to respect that can be taken, but it's not an assumed level of respect like a parent.
