Wife and I watched the last episode. I cracked up seeing the jack-o'-lantern heads. My wife did not think that was as funny as I did. She likes the parts with Crane interacting with modern tech and specifically his reactions during the tour.

The show is getter better. I'm liking the pace of it. The main characters seem to have a little more depth to them. I'm still not sure what Captain's role in all this is. I thought he was more in the know with things how he's tried to protect them, but after being shocked there was a headless horseman who knows.

^ Yeah I'm not 100% clear on that either. The pilot made it seem like he was more 'in the know' than the subsequent episodes have. I wonder if the writers decided to change his role after the pilot.

The last episode has been my favorite so far. Good plot movement, great humor, and the scene at the end where they captured the Horseman was eerie as hell (you could tell if he had his head he would've been screaming in pain, and all there was was silence instead)

Thought this week's big "reveal" towards the end of the episode was made too obvious earlier in the episode. Was a bit disappointed by that but do like how the show is progressing.

Agreed, we have one sheriff in prison/psych ward and one who wants to put everyone in jail and isn't going to believe a damn thing. I think she will end up with her head cut off and somehow we will get the original back. Although I am not sure how the hell that will happen without someone replacing him, like his daughter, but she doesn't remember doing it... If he says it he will look even more crazy than he already does. He has already told them part of it, but he hasn't implicated his daughter floating in the air and breaking the neck of a priest and then going back to her wheelchair. That will be pretty interesting to see how that plays out and you know they are going to need his help. However the last person to visit him in Episode 2 is probably a bad sign, especially with how he signed the paper to declare him his lawyer...

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me if that contract/pen was about signing over his soul or something along those lines. Showing him working on the pen definitely means that it's going to go badly for our former captain. Also wasn't sure at first if the new captain was completely oblivious or if she was in fact a bad guy since she seemed more focus on getting in their way than actually doing her job.

Nick Hawley is definitely the cliff hanger of this episode and judging by last season I would say for the entire season.
