64 points at the half? Yes please

Taylor is having a great game and Kemba is just making the Knicks look stupid with 17 and 5 at the half.

He's had a couple highlight reel moves I can't wait to see again.

[Edited on November 5, 2013 at 8:52 PM. Reason : Gilly with a couple great hustle plays too]

Headed out to my first game this year tomorrow. 30 bucks for center court 15 rows up? I kinda want them to stay terrible at these prices.

I've given up hoping that Gilly's jumper will ever come around. That hitch in it is just awful.

However, I'm impressed with how much he impacts the game in other ways. He's becoming a great defender, he rebounds, great driving to the bucket, constantly giving effort plays etc.

I think he could be a valuable glue player that just does the little things to get wins when this team gets better.

Type of guy you could give a different assignment to each night depending on the matchup and know he is going to go out there and take care of business.

They played too well that first half to be tied.

It really took something away from us when MKG went to the bench with foul trouble.

Toronto is stupid. Down 2 with 26 seconds left? Don't foul, just let the other team run the clock down to 0 and walk off with the win. Genius.

Bobcats weren't around in 97 but maybe the Hornets? lol have the Bobcats ever been over .500 this "deep" into the season? I guess probably the year Orlando swept them

^Dunlap was not a good coach...

Clifford has these guys playing solid defense and playing efficiently when shots are falling. It'll be interesting to see whether they actually improve when Jefferson comes back, or whether his poor defense and ball-stopping negates his scoring & rebounding.

The correct answer is November 3rd, 2007

^ Hendo mentioned in his post game comments how much they love this new coach last night. He really seems to be a players' guy.

Walker, MKG, Taylor, and even Biyombo have made great strides in the offseason. If we can have the basketball gods smile on us come draft time and get a franchise big (Julius Randle) to fill in that McRoberts role we might have something.

MKG has been a surprise to me so far. I love his defensive tenacity. The way he was getting after it with Melo the other night was good to see. He is never going to be a good shooter which will limit his scoring some...but he will still get 14-18 pts per night by getting out on the break with Kemba, getting put backs and driving. He is more than serviceable, but the Bobcats have to put scoring and shooting around him. There are alot of interesting pieces on this team, however there are a couple things missing that will keep them out of the playoffs, IMO.

He can't do it by himself. Kemba has gone off plenty and carried the team way more than his share already this year. If anyone can be absolved on the team's record it is him.

When does Gerald fucking Henderson plan on having a great game? That guy SUCKS. He's awful. I wish we would have never re-signed him. Waste of a roster spot.

It doesn't help when his backup is out for the season either. We're just terrible at the the 2 and 3 spots.

At least MKG will be back next week.

Big Al has been a monster the past 2 weeks. 42 pts 18 rebounds tonight.

I'd really like to see that Evan Turner deal go down if it doesn't involve one of our 1st rounders. If we can get him for Ben Gordon's expiring contract and another insignificant piece, pull the trigger.

Drop McRoberts to the bench and have a starting 5 of Kemba/Henderson/MKG/Turner/Big Al and you've got a solid foundation to build on.

I'm not convinced Evan Turner helps the Bobcats. He isn't an efficient player.

They need a wing who can hit 3's and a power forward to replace McRoberts.

^^ I'm just fine with MKG staying put on the wing.

Not every player should be decided on offensive output. Mike's turning into our lockdown guy that takes the other team's #1 every night and contributes a couple points here and there on slashes to the basket and turnovers. He's glue with that hustle/defensive contribution.

Turner is averaging 18/6/4 on 43% from the field. How could you turn that down for an expiring contract and a couple loose ends?

MKG is never going to show his full worth in a box score.

Every team needs that type of guy though. He knows his role on the team is defense/rebounding/hustle plays and goes out there and executes. I think he's going to become a big asset to this franchise as he continues to develop.

Can't give up MKG. Yeah, his shot is butt-ass ugly, but you can't measure what that guy brings to the court. He raises the play of everyone of the court by hustling his ass off.

Turner isn't bad but he seems like the opposite of what the Bobcats need. He gets his point in the mid-range area, just like Henderson. Bobcats desperately need a 2G who can shoot with range.
