There were a lot of NC State fans at the game that really liked the midfield logo. Personally, if you are going to use Tuffy, use either a large headshot, or full body with no NC outline. If they wanted to use the NC outline, they could have gone with wolf eyes inside the outline, just like in the NC State media guides and season ticket packets

I'm going to post this again to make sure some of YOU PEOPLE trying to act like it's an innocent borrowing realize how pathetic these people are.

They lifted this word for word and tried to play like the Pee 'n See Center is somehow a comparable "cathedral" of sports like Tiger Stadium, home of a multi-national championship team that's always competing and always sells out.

i also prefer the old block S with thin-S and more space where the N and C were.

IIRC the reason they wrecked Tuffy was that the old logo was too complex to create due to the pinstripes and what not. The new Tuffy was easier to create. But yes the old Tuffy >>>>>>> new, retarded Tuffy.

Honest question, is the phrase "This is Our State" supposed to imply that we are the best athletics program in the state? I would say that it has that ring to it, but if I think about it for more than 3 seconds, it seems to me to just be a slogan to promote the school. But then that seems like a cop-out, like I'm saying "well, it's not intended to be taken that way, just like, ya know, it's our (NC) State, like "this is our school". Perhaps for all of these reasons it should go away.

The reason the new Tuffy is bad is because it looks like nice and friendly, while it should look mean and tough. Obviously it has no real bearing on anything but one looks like a shirt you'd wear to support a university and the other looks like a shirt you'd give a baby.
