When we went up 10-0, I thought maybe we could be bowl eligible.

Then we couldn't score a TD the rest of the game and I realized that the odds of that are low.

Still, this is a must-win. I think it's within the realm of possibility that we could win out against 4 meh teams, but it's a stretch.

Still, if we only win 2 of the ACC games, qualifying for a bowl with a 2-6 ACC record is pathetic. I'd almost rather not reward that with extra practice and just make the team hungrier come spring.

No the extra practices are really important especially for a young team like ours. Plus depending on where you play, you can recruit that area some too. Lots of small benefits come along with playing in shitty bowl games.

But the idea that we finish 2-6 in the ACC and beat ECU to sneak into a bowl game is comical. A 2-6 conference record should automatically exclude you from any bowl.

maybe this team doesn't need to practice anymore. knowing us, we'd lose our key players for next season while practicing for the bowl. maybe its best to just shut it down until the spring and think our way into being better.
