The M2 SLAM is only slightly different from the M15 anti-tank mine. The only way to detonate it is to throw a grenade at it. The difference with the SLAM is that it can be tossed like C4, and it will also stick to vehicles. (If you stick one on a vehicle and it rolls away, it will blow itself up in about 2 seconds.) You can throw it out of a window, or you can try to sneak up behind an armored vehicle to stick 2 and then toss a grenade at it to blow it. The weird thing is that the SLAM appears to be more effective against smaller vehicles, and the M15 is better suited for heavy vehicles. I personally LOVE carrying both of them when I have the anti-tank squad bonus up to level 3 so that I can lay a massive field of 12 mines total. I try to get behind enemy lines and cause chaos for vehicles.

This game keeps crashing for me, even on campaign mode. I never got to see how it ended because it crashes as soon as the boat explodes.

I am thinking about making a battlefield rage video, which will show the bullshit crashes, then end with me griping about how much crap this game is, then placing it in my microwave and frying it. Then I'll mail it to EA telling them they can shove this piece of shit up their asses.

I got in a full 4 rounds yesterday before my subconscious started to lull me into thinking that my issues were resolved. Not even 5 minutes later, complete crash which I couldn't even ctrl-alt-del out of. Fantastic. I really, really do love this game (so much more than BF3), but the crashes are just making me think that I need to take a break from it for a while.

Just got it for Xbone, no issues with campaign or multiplayer so far. I started the campaign on easy and still died a lot (always from a perfect enemy grenade toss, vehicle, or thinking-I-can-survive-that-jump).

I have discovered the mobile artillery truck that spawns once you capture a middle point on certain conquest maps... I hop in that shit and drive it well out of the battle, then bombard everything. I went 34-2 with it on one match and the next I had guys trying to destroy me the entire match in my own base. They can come virtually into your base on this version of BF, so I couldn't ever really get away.

I hate when someone else has it, but man do I love whoring the shit out of it.

played a little yesterday on somebody else's xbox. once i got into a server (which was a task.. they really need to get that straight) it wasn't too bad. the vehicles provide some hilarious moments... i watched somebody get plowed by an ATV somebody jumped off of right behind him.

I've had this happen on certain servers, then if I quit and join a different one they are all back. Not sure if that is something to do with the gametype on that particular server (you can see others in the game also have basic kits) or an actual bug

I have no idea why, but my play experience lately has been completely error-free. No crashes, no random server kicks, no connectivity problems, no rubber-banding, nothing. I dunno what's been fixed, but it's working for me.

I still can't believe Multiplayer>Quickmatch>Conquest does not work (Xbone - it has never worked for me yet). I always have to browse servers and get in a queue. Sucks waiting 10 mins to get a game started.

I've had one or two crashes since the last patch which was a few weeks ago so that's good, but also i;ve been getting this weird stuttering any time theres any kind of explosion or lots of shit going on, even when its not on screen. its like its lagging trying to compute the physics or trying to load sounds or something. also sounds don't load immediately after a new map. like i can be in a vehicle and get no vehicle sound and then it comes in like 30 seconds later. that doesn't really matter, but i wonder if its related.

The sound thing happens every match for me. It is very common. As is the lag. It is not network lag, but some sort of frame-rate/processor lag like you said. It is very strange since I have never seen that in a console game before.

The worst is waiting 10 mins in a queue and then getting in a game with blank stats for everyone, so there are only basic loadouts available. Then you can either play the basic game or quit and attempt tp redo the entire process.

that means the server you connected to cant communicate w/ ea's servers to get your profile info. either eas shit is down or the server is messed up both of which are highly likely

also on pc we get to use the battelog to join games and its a fucking pain in the ass cause probably a third of a time the game wont connect to the server and you cant just immediately retry the connection because as soon as the game cant connect it starts closing down which takes like 15 seconds cause dice is morons.

i guess someone decided that an in game server browser was no good because it worked and was more convenient/faster.

I really just started playing this game and I like it much more than I thought I would have. I have played all previous BF games but I always ended up turning to COD. Maybe this go around I will play more BF.

I asked because I got some sort of unlock, but it may have been for the mobile. The automatic ones in your base fire at tagged enemy aircraft in your spawn zone. Be sure to spot enemies in the skies!!!

This is still what I play a lot of on Xbone. I haven't purchased any expansion stuff either. It is kind of lame because I cannot get some of the guns/equipment that other players have, that is only available if you buy the expansions.
