He got some minutes when Cat got poked in the eye, and stayed in for a while even when Cat returned. He played with energy, and we seemed to feed off it. He did get blown by once on D, but that just led to an Abu block.

I'm happy he got to play

but diving for that loose ball, converting that three point play, playing serviceable defense while Cat was out...more than made up for it

Lee played some key minutes tonight and had 3-4 huge plays. Awesome how the whole team has been making plays the past two games.

If Turner is not going to give us anything on offense, then Lee should play due to his defense and energy. If we play NIU, they will run 4 guards all hanging on the perimeter waiting for their stud guy to kick it out. Lee may be critical for us next Friday again.

His defense has always been pretty good, his energy is always amazing, but in the past he hasn't shown great basketball iq and has had some kyle washington spazzo tendencies. now he's playing limited minutes and those tendencies are being limited. he's bringing his best. without turner hitting, these are some great minutes for him. love it.

He got into a corner costing us 2 timeouts, he also cost us a 10 second halfcourt violationst. But he more than made up for it Kid's all heart!

(i know you're joking about lee) but that pass was terrible. i love lacey - but he's had a couple end of game situations where he's thrown the ball away like that. whatever...we won.

It was definitely Lacey's fault...but it wasn't a horrible pass. Lee was open on the other side of the half-court line, then he saw Lacey in trouble and started to run towards Lacey...Lacey unfortunately threw it to where Lee was before he started coming towards Lacey. If Lee had stayed where he was at, it would have been a perfect pass. You can't fault Lee for moving towards Lacey...but it wasn't a bad pass...just ill-timed.
