I cant say I blame him, it is Florida after all.
Sophisticated interference techniques? Probably just plopped a patrol car there to film the cars passing through, wouldnt take but a day or two to CSI four-frame that shit. If it was me I'd have it rigged as a switch to operate it on the fly.
