had 3 cavities in my life (in the last year), which the dentist didn't blame on my brushing, as they were in deep pits that can't really be reached with a brush. Said I was lucky to go this long without having cavities in those pits.

It used to be 1-2 times a day. Now it seems to be n+1, where n is the amount of times my wife who's now enrolled in dental hygiene tells me to go and brush my teef after kissing her.
