I rode HIMX up from 6.11 to 9.50 earlier this year, and I'm sitting on a bunch I picked up at 11.65 (now 14.63)

Sprint shares are finally start to come around. They are probably too pricy to buy now, but then again I dunno. They have about doubled from about a year ago!

Should have trusted my gut...I didn't lose anything, just could have added a pretty significant amount of shares

It would be nice if it settles below 2.40 or 2.30...doubt it, but we will see."

It retraced all of those gaps from around christmas

oh well

Picked up some TGT today.

Also rolled my synthetic FXE short out to Jan 2016. At a loss for now, but it almost nets out to even with the FXY synthetic short that also expires this week.

^ probably not a bad play on Target seeing that it is trading near it's 52 week low and eventually all this bad press about the credit info leak will subside. Gotta hope that the economy continues to truck along though. It's hard to find good value in large cap stocks right now with everything so inflated.

BBY March 39 puts were way up yesterday. Likely dumping all of those as soon as I get to the office.

Made a move on ARIA two days ago at 6.50 and it is currently trading at 8.72 on news of multiple buyout talks. Solid 28% gain in less than two days.

AAPL took a dump this morn on the earnings release....Also downgraded by several analytsts.

i've been contemplating selling for the past few weeks, doh

That's also gonna drag down a big chunk of mutual funds/ETFs pretty good.

the noun that acts as the subject is "distribution of stock", meaning that the distributions are > $10.

Honestly this correction for most of us is something we should not be sweating. All my money is in my 401k and Roths and I have a little bit in some individual stocks. When the market corrects, we get to buy more shares of everything. I am not hoping for another 2008 or anything, but it was pretty obvious this market was inflated and would have to start coming down soon.

If I am a retiree, I am running for cover though as we still have a long way down. Gold looking better and better /face.

Agreed, just a hell of a lot easier to take a 10% loss when you have a four digit balance vs now.

I picked up some PSMI after it tanked over the past couple of weeks following an (expected) bad quarter. Tech investors are so fickle.

Just a bit of speculation on my behalf. I've been following the company for about a month now and I think they have a solid business model; it's just in a highly competitive industry. I also don't buy for the short term, so a really bad quarter doesn't concern me too much if everything else looks good.

Last time I speculated was with GTAT @ 3.77, which is paying off nicely at this point.

WARNING: INO post following...

Anyone want to speculate? They will probably release the phase II results sometime between May and June from what I remember, what price do you think it will run up to getting closer to that time (next 2-3 months)? Most people on the interwebs are saying the pps will be anywhere from $5-8+ with successfull trials, sub-$1.50-2 on negative (possibly more or less depending on how good/bad each way)...I'm gonna say it gets to like $3.50 by May, and even more if they have another good PR between now and then.

There are a lot of shares short now so I wouldn't be suprised to see another crazy run like what happened a few months ago.

/INO

Glad I sold that lot...it closed at 2.81 and is going even lower AH. I may get back in tomorrow, I'm hoping for it to get down to 2.65-2.70 or below, but we'll see.

Day traders are making a killing on this thing, the price swings are like clockwork as of late.
