1. Russell Wilson is not an alumnus of N.C. State.
2. Denver has linebacker Nate Irving, a 3rd year pro and alumnus of N.C. State.

Someone who was a graduate at a particular school, college, or university. You're not an alumnus if you drop out or leave early.

Having said that, didn't realize Wilson graduated in 3 years.

An alumnus is any guy that took at least one class at a school. A graduate is someone that graduated from a school. That is why they are different words, because they have different meanings.

^Oh wow, I was unaware that two words cannot have the same meaning. I am not arguing the meanings of these two words, but don't say because they are different words they have different meanings. Cool story.

I was trying to drive the point home for ^^^^ because he disagreed(?) with the definition he even quoted. I dunno, I just assume once a reasonable definition has been posted/found that there wouldn't need to be more discussion. It was more just to get his goat than anything else.

If we aren't going to have agreed upon definitions then there isn't much point in discussing anything.

Flyin Ryan is a fucking idiot.

I will be pulling for the Seahawks, but I'll be okay with Peyton winning another Super Bowl just so he can shut the haters up who said he still chokes in the playoffs even though he's already won a Super Bowl and just threw for 400 fucking yards against Bill Belicheck. And hopefully it will rightfully put him ahead of Brady in the GOAT argument.

lol Flying Ryan is trolling. The "alumnus' definition has been a tww meme for at least 10 years now.

there's absolutely no way he was being serious everyone knows russell was here four years and graduated from nc state.

I mean we're talking about possibly the greatest athlete and most famous alumni in school history. There's no way anyone with any sports knowledge doesn't know every single detail about russell wilson.

Still such a fucking shame that TOB kicked him off the team. Cost us an ACC title game appearance and a lot of national attention for producing RW.

Let's talk about UNC-NCSU The mothafuckin Super Bowl

Weather is supposedly going to be much better than expected based on forecasts about a week ago. i.e., no snow or anything. Could help Denver.

Gil Brandt, who knows more football than all of TWW, picked this to be the first overtime Super Bowl ever, with Seattle winning 24-21. I trust him.

I think Moreno will have more yards than Lynch this game. But that Lynch will have 2 TDs. LOB will do their best to lock down all of Peyton's receiving weapons, opening it up for Knowshon.

The sexy matchup is the #1 offense vs. the #1 defense, but RW's offense versus Denver's D will be the X-factor that decides this game.

I hope Seattle wins, I just hope they show up without The 12th Man to fire them up.

Read an article that pretty much said game comes down to whether refs let them play or not. If they do Seattle wins if not Denver wins. Such a close matchup this is probably actually a bit true

I predict Lynch has a big game, wins MVP in a close game. Something along the lines of 28-27.

^^^I dunno - Denver has been shutting down RB's as of late

the biggest x factor to me is whether knowshon or knowshow shows up. Denver's fucked if they can't get a run game going
