This is exactly how I feel. If we're going to have to fire Gott better happen in the next couple years...sadly it's not going ot. If we have to let him go it will be in 6-7.

He's still got to recruit players to Virginia Tech. Football school out in the middle of nowhere with engineer nerds and rednecks. Oh...and no basketball history to speak of.

I'm not saying he won't do well, but I don't think we should be worried about them becoming a conference power or anything.

Look for Wake to go after Mike White of Louisana Tech, guy can flat out coach, 2 straight conference titles, just can't seem to win conference tourney. Dad is the AD at Duke so look out.

^ i think that had more to do with getting paid out his contract by UNCC. If he took another head coaching job, he'd forfeit that money, so he was happy to take an assistant job for the time being and double dip for a while.

in all reality, Dino would be a great hire for assistant coach. under his watch, Wake Forest got some good commits
