I'm kind of glad I didn't get tickets to this. The heat would have had me hanging around the concessions buying $4 bottles of water.

It's fun if you're just going for 1 day. You have enough time to get around and see pretty much everything if you make a day out of it. If you go for the whole weekend it can get tedious, boring and expensive.

i found my 2005 hat in my closet, holy crap that thing is faded and crusty from sweat and wear. looks like that one will not be making a come back

I found this place after waiting in line at the trophy club. Very nice spot. Had a few beers and watched the video board and a few players at 15. The lines are fast here too. Hot as balls on the green area in front of the video board. Probably the only downside.

We just picked up one of the picnic tables and moved it to the shade I think some are anchored to the ground though..

Went for about 5 hours today, had a pretty good time. Spent most of our time around 10/12 green & 11 tee. It's felt good in the shade with a nice breeze. I think I was the only guy there without a polo shirt on, haha.

Overall, I'd rate my first golf tournament experience a 6.5/10.

If you're MK, do you switch gears for the weekend and set a new goal of just playing even par for these last two rounds? Don't shoot at any flags and put it all on your putter to bring you home.

It is a bit dangerous to take your foot off the gas however, because you might be able to reclaim it if somebody gets within striking distance.

missed a rain storm and humidity is down this morning w/ wind up....i can't wait to see if kaymer can hold up

The most classic tournaments are the ones where there are 4-5 guys with a shot to win on the back 9. That won't happen tomorrow.
