I upgraded to two builders early on. It helped for awhile but as you get fairly far in the game, you don't need to build as much and you reach expansion limits.

I upgraded to 2 workers last week. Between clearing areas, normal buildings, and Comic-Con stuff I think it's pretty helpful. Other than that, I've only used clams to unlock characters, either by building one of the buildings that takes them or when I need only 1 more rare item to unlock someone.

I am level 40 and have one worker. If I had started late I probably would have unlocked a second but I started playing during the beta run and had plenty of time to do things.

I got a second worker when they were 50% off during Labor Day last year. There has only been one or two times that I have had both workers working

How worth it is it to get Ron Perlman and Felicia Day? They both need more stuff but if I don't get it all by Sep 8 I think I lose them, so it would mean focusing on just them and not the other "quest" stuff.

They both have 'jobs' they can do that give harpoons and/or rockets. Otherwise they're just more characters. Ron Perlman has a cool voice though

New update says you can unlock the Downtown area. New costume for Meg. Also a new feature that shows characters in the top left of the screen that you can tap on either when they have an ! or if you just want to find them. Helpful.

The candy boxes show up randomly once a day. They're a bit of a pain in the ass to see, but there's a column of sparkles/stars/WTF over them.

the candy boxes reset once a day at 3pm EST. they are typically a column of stars/glitter that activate from collecting rent from your buildings. it's just a matter of looking all over after you collect rent to find it. if you don't find it before the next reset, then it is gone.

I have 2 purple and 2 red. I'm worried the game is going to keep giving a color even after I don't need it anymore and one of the colors (guessing blue from the numbers so far) is going to be rare.

Or they can cut us a break for once and make it take ONLY 10 days to get everything.

I got Kool Aid Man and Pink Brian. Same day I finally got the last eye for Anime Peter and entered the district with Stewie and Carter.

^^Dont sweat it. All of the "optional" characters dont do shit after their initial acquirement. Ive half the comicon guys and cleveland and they are now useless towards quests, etc.
